A Day in the Life

Stories of two growing children mixed with ramblings from the ether of my mind.

Day 5: Hollywood Studios

So are you tired of the recap just yet?  There are still many more photos to come and even more in the photo gallery if you are interested.

Breakfast was more his style.  Though he wasn't too sure of Goliath.

Leo was more of a hit.

And here are the two Jo Jo's!

He liked June the first time she came by,

but the second time she teased him about taking a drink from his milk.  Then she held it out for him to take a drink.  Let's just say he went into what we call camel mode and drank, and drank, and drank, until she finally broke away, pretended to get another drink and then let him drink for a couple more minutes.  Can you say bliss?

All of us with "Biteyear" - his shortened version of Buzz Lightyear.

While she did an art class with Daddy, he tried to take a nap with June and Quincy,

Mickey Mouse (I didn't want to wait in the line for Mickey, but he insisted)

and would have cuddled with Handy Manny until he was asleep.  I wish we could have borrowed Handy Manny for just that purpose too.

A nap did follow, but not before a meltdown.  We paid for letting him stay up and enjoy the characters inside as it was drizzling outside.  But he did finally get a nap (much to our and other's relief).

Just don't tell him that he missed out on meeting Mr. Incredible.  He got to "see" Mr. Incredible earlier, but didn't get to visit because he had to leave for a parade.  But he did get a high five from him that he talked about for days.  And will still bring up now.  So I think he's ok with it.

And don't forget the "Queen" cars.  :-)

Doesn't it look like it was a great day for him?

(And us too of course!)

Day 4: Animal Kingdom

The day started with a welcoming from some of our little guy's favorite characters:

And continued with a breakfast with those same characters.

They too had his favorite Mickey waffles!  Well maybe some yogurt and a piece of bacon too.

Seriously fruit and these and our kids are good to go!

They found a few new characters throughout the day.

Pocohontas became a favorite for her after she sat and talked to her for several minutes.  And can you see the look on his face?  He was charmed!

And there was a petting zoo.  Neither was afraid which kind of surprised me since he's busy going through a "I don't like it" stage (which just means he either doesn't like it or it is new).

He even rode on the dinosaurs (think Dumbo ride, but two seats per dinosaur).  He was not impressed.  In fact he'd rather nap then do it again if that says anything.  :-)

And we went back to Epcot for fireworks since the Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other parks.
