So my daughter was invited to a birthday party this weekend.  It turns out it was the dream come true for her.  The party was all about getting completely dressed up and having a tea party.  Yes, just her style.  First she got to pick a dress and then it was off to get her hair "done,"

and then nails

and even make-up.

Then it was off to accessorize.

(Which included a tiara, earrings, a necklace, bracelet, ring, and shoes - if you closely you might notice that the bracelet and ring changed at least once.  Apparently there were too many choices.  :) )

Then all the princesses were introduced.  They were supposed to state their name, age, and their favorite princess.  My poor princess was stumped when it came time to name her favorite princess.  You could see the gears turning as she tried to reason who was her current favorite.  She finally went with Tiana after being prompted that maybe it was all of them (which is probably the truth).

Then it was time for the tea party.  So cute!

And she had the honor of being the only guest at the tea party to eat everything on her plate.  And honestly she'd have probably eaten more if they'd offered her seconds knowing my girl.  There were fruits and veggies and rolled up turkey - all favorites.  And a cupcake of course!

Then all of the princesses enjoyed themselves dancing until it was time to part.  Amazingly enough they all willingly changed out of their dresses and back into their normal clothes without much protest.  Though a couple did ask if they could keep an accessory or two.  Such a sweet event for such sweet little girls.  :)
