Our daughter used to ride her bike without hesitation.  She was not worried about falliing as she had training wheels on and she was content to go, go, go.  And she was getting pretty good at riding.  But then she was riding slightly downhill and decided at the last minute to make a very sharp right turn.  And well, even the training wheels couldn't stop her and she took a little tumble.  No injuries, but apparently that was enough to kind of rattle her.  And since then I've noticed she will ride almost anything, but her bike.  So while together with her best friend recently we brought along her bike.  And she did get on it, but she is definitely still fearful.  Any slight hill (up or down) and she wants off.  Any slight bump and she wants off.  Sigh.  So I think we need to find a nice level place for her to ride and build up her confidence again.  But at least for now she is getting back on the bike.

In other news she won a prize her second week at cheer practice for doing the best job of remembering their cheer.  She knew the whole thing.  Which impressed me as we only went over it twice that morning before school.  Now, if only spelling words stuck with her like that!  :)
