This weekend we took the kids bowlig for the first time. It was quite the adventure. First up was getting shoes. They were intrigued by shoes that are borrowed as it was a new idea to them. And of course at that point they each had a hundred or so questions they wanted to ask. :)
But we did manage to get them all situated and ready to bowl. They have gone "bowling" on the Wii before, so it wasn't a completely foreign concept. Jordan was first up with a little help from Daddy.

Then it was Justice's turn. He decided to try the ramp out.

Of course anything he does she has to do so...

she tried the ramp as well. But she seemed to prefer to do it without it.

He asked if he could kick the ball down, but we explained that this wasn't soccer.

That didn't damper his fun any.

And so they two of them had lots of fun their first time bowling.

And we have already had requests to go again.

After a round of bowling we let the kids play in the little arcade. They did skee ball (which honestly could have gone on forever with him as he couldn't seem to get the ball to roll up high enough), wack-a-mole,

a basketball game, and then they did a simulator type game. Both kids sat on attached seats and selected a train ride that was more like a rollercoaster ride - the seats moved, vibrated, and a fan blew air in their faces. He was NOT impressed.

I am quite sure he will NOT be asking to do that again anytime soon. But everything else that day was a hit - can you tell?
