The night before Easter the kids enjoyed dyeing eggs. Yes, I said kids. Both of them enjoyed it and amazingly enough no one spilled any dye.

He of course wanted to do it all by himself, but for some reason that just didn't sound like a good idea.

And she loved that after they were all colored she could add stickers. She is a big fan of stickers. And posing for pictures. I try to not let her even know I'm taking a picture, but as soon as she sees a camera she starts posing.

Easter morning they both had baskets full of candy. And I suspect both of them ate way more than I realized. The smart kiddoes learned to just eat what didn't require me to open after I said no more. Oh, how quickly they learn. :-)

And after breakfast (pancakes on top of the candy) they had an egg hunt. This one they both enjoyed.

See even while hunt she poses for pictures.

He was busy hunting eggs and paid me no mind.

She even indulged me in a picture after in front of this pretty azalea. We had to admire them at Nana's as ours haven't bloomed just yet. And pink is her favorite color.

Her only complaint was that it was sunny. As in why couldn't mommy stand in the flower bed and take her picture from the opposite side? So I said she could get her picture taken with the pretty azalea and cover her eyes. :-) It was a win-win.

Meanwhile he was done. As in nowhere to be found to talk into standing in front of anything pretty for a picture (I had my eyes on a lilac bush). Oh, well one for two isn't too bad.
