Our little girl recently had her hair "highlighted" during a trip to the mall.

A store was doing colored streaks in kids hair and she was all in.

I am not sure how she would have reacted if I had said no, but I figured a little colored hair spray was ok.

She had a pink and purple streak on each side (per her request), but by the time we were home the purple looked like pink.

But she did not mind at all.  After all pink is her preferred color.  So now I wonder how long it will be before she asks to do this again.  And I'll be ok as long as we are talking about colored hair spray and not anything more permanent.  :)
