Thanks to a teacher workday at day-care my little boy and I recently got to spend the day together.  Just the two of us.  He loved being able to pick where we went and what we did.

And I enjoyed spending time with him.

Watching him dig for fossils.  And laughing at how he quickly realized it was harder than it looked.  :)

Not that it stopped him.

In fact, digging was a big activity that day.

A big sandbox in the shade - oh, yeah!

And my favorite part to watch (he couldn't get it to dump exactly where he wanted, so he would help it).

And he also got to visit with the dinosaurs.

And he assured me that they were the pretend kind.  :)

And at lunch he talked me into a small ice cream cone (and only a short nap in the car), which in his mind made it a great day!
