Our daughter celebrated her 6th birthday with her best friend spending the day and night.

And this year's theme was Tangled - can you tell?  Just don't look too closely at the cake.  Apparently I didn't put enough support in the bottom layer and the top layer came crashing down in the back.  So I was devastated, but our daughter wasn't worried.  She was just ready to enjoy the cake.  :)

And he was ready too.  Not the best idea to get a little boy up that wasn't 100% awake, bring him downstairs with the promise of cake, and then have him wait.  You get looks like this.  But I promise we didn't really make him wait long.

It took her a few tries to get all the candles, but she managed.  :)

And after spending the day at the pool, doing crafts, running in the sprinkler, shooting squirt guns, and just having a good time the girls were asleep shortly after their two heads hit the pillow.  And that was my treat for the day.  :)  Though really, the girls were great and I know they look forward to doing it again.
