Apparently it hasn't rained enough in recent history for my kids.  Interesting as there are still puddles on the ground.  But the real issue has been that when it has rained the kids haven't been able to play in it.  So today they played in pretend rain. 

Because it really was about getting the chance to play with umbrellas that they wanted.

And I was ok with it since it kept them entertained and out of trouble.

(And for the record they got themselves dressed today - just like do everyday.)
