I'd like to wish a belated Happy Halloween to everyone.  Hope everyone had fun however they chose (or chose not) to celebrate.

The day before Halloween the kids got to carve their pumpkins.  With help of course.

Despite looking like he was going to dive right into the project, it became quickly apparent that our little guy was not sold on the activity.  Instead he focused on gathering intel on the inside of his pumpkin.

After which he proceeded to remove a single pumpkin seed.

Not the most effective way to clean the inside of the pumpkin.  And then he actually touched some of the pumpkin guts and called it a day.  Our eldest gave it a much better effort.

She did a pretty good job of cleaning out the inside, but when it came to separting out the seeds this year, she was less enthusiastic.  They each then picked out a design for their pumpkin and we set out to work on it, while they played nicely in the next room.  And when it was all said and done he had his Mickey pumpkin and she had her pluto (with a pumpkin) pumpkin.
