A couple of weeks ago (hmm...  was it really that long ago?) we got to visit with friends and family.  Lots of fun was had by all.  A highlight of the trip for the kids was getting to see a horse up close.  Well, she was excited at first.  He was excited once the horse was through checking him out and wandered off.  Then he wanted me to "call" him back.  Hmm...  I don't speak horse well, so that didn't happen.  Not sure that he learned anything in all of that, but it was entertaining.

Can you tell she was excited?

I am happy to report that while that day it was hot enough to wear a sundress and sandals today it would be too cool for that.  Yay for fall weather!  It is nice to get to break out the jeans to wear on the weekend.  Nothing beats a great pair of broken in jeans. 

Oh, little man also got to "ride" a 4 wheeler.  Course they had to promise not to turn it on, but that's ok.  One less way for him to get hurt right?
