I asked the kids to come outside so I could take their picture. And as soon as we walked out the door he was busy splashing around in a puddle I had made a little earlier.

Today I didn't mind that he went right to splashing.

But there have been other days that I have asked him before not to walk through a puddle and then he will immediately turn around and walk right thought it. And when I've asked him why he did - he has told me "I didn't walk in a puddle Mommy, I walked in the water." And what do you say to that? :) Apparently puddle isn't a word that he has accepted into his vocabulary just yet

But even though it should be, I suspect that he will still jump in the puddles - he just can't resist.
