On Halloween the kids were very excited to get out and trick-or-treat in our neighborhood. I did a few lessons from last year, so this year we brought the wagon and a thermos of water along just in case. Well, the wagon turned out to be a good call as our little guy rode for the middle third of the trip. I think seeing more kids around that time kind of overwhelmed him. But then he decided to rejoin the fun with his sister. It was so cute watching them hold hands and go door to door.
Here they are getting ready to go out.

Here they are with the yard decorations they got to pick out this year. She is into skeletons this year. I think because she has been studying parts of the body in school as she likes to point out what some bones are. He on the other hand is very into pumpkins, which is more like how she's been in the past.

After trick-or-treating was candy time. No way were they going to bed without any. :)
He picked a tootsie pop, which we were beginning to think was just a ploy to stay up really late by eating it as slow as possible. But then I think he realized that wouldn't work and he ate it more quickly.

i have no idea how much candy she'd have eaten if we hadn't been around. She was overwhelmed with choices and wanted to try it all. But we did limit her to three pieces. Here she is trying to sneak into a chocolate bar after I said no, not until you are in your pjs.

Let's just say she got into her pjs that night in record time. I guess a kit kat will do that. ;)
