So, I am aware it has been awhile since I've posted. So I figure it is time to do some quick updates.
- Migraines suck! No nice way to put it - they are horrible things that make my life miserable. And the worst part is trying to determine if the cause is even something you can control. Ugh!
- Jordan has been the Star Student of the Week. She got to display a poster in her class all about her and her classmates put together a cute book on her. She was quite excited to get the book, a certificate, and a pencil. Her poster is now proudly displayed over the kid's desk.
- Justice is continuing to open up to new foods. He now seems to prefer things with lettuce or a salad. And he managed to eat a good bit of my sushi roll the last time we had asian food.
- Jordan is reading more and more each day. She has started to read signs ,bulletin boards, and product packaging as her vocabulary increases. And with it her writing is improving daily as well.
- Justice recently said that for Halloween this year he wants to be Andy from Toy Story. The truth is that he is Andy is all manners except that his name isn't Andy. :) The boy loves to play with Woody, Jesse, Buzz Lightyear, and more. And now he's armed with a bucket of army men. So between them and his cars I don't expect we will see the rug in his room anytime soon.
- Jordan recently sang with a group at her school's international festival. She was part of the group representing the US. And did a great job, singing loud and proud!
And now let's see about some updates with pictures as I know that is what the grandparent's want to see. :)
The kids are busy growing like weeds.

Seriously. I recently took a pair of zip up pj's out of her drawer that had gotten too snug and put them in his drawer. He wore them that night. Which made me go "hmmm." I knew they were close in size, but that seemed closer than I realized. :)

And as I was taking these pictures it hit me - these pj's are the same size. Granted they are different brands and they fit each a little differently, but they are the same size.

My little ones are growing quickly. Sometimes it seems like it is too quickly. Sigh.

And both are in need of a hair cut. :) He has refused to even talk about it until recently. Now I think it is long enough that it falls into his eyes and so he has conceeded that he does need to get it cut. She has wanted to get it cut, but due to scheduling issues we haven't gotten in just yet (she and I tend to do a double appointment as we see the same lady). So hair cuts are on the to do list for three of us.
Fortunately there are no doctor appointments on that to do list. Granted that doesn't mean that they don't get check-ups around the house. :)

But it does mean that little guy has "graduated" from the Ear Nose Throat Dr. His tubes have fallen out and his ears look great so hopefully that is the last time we have to see Dr. P (though it isn't anything against him personally - it just means he did a great job).
