This week at the kid's school was the week of the young child. And it was full of activities that the kids thoroughly enjoyed.
Monday: A parade at school
Tuesday: PJ day - Who knew that it was so exciting to wear pj's to school?
Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday - I think these pictures say it all. :-)
Thursday: Favorite Team Apparel Day - Both kids sported NC State Wolfpack apparel. And it seems that the Wolfpack fans were #1 in the school overall!
Friday: Field Day - Both kids had a field day (though at different times as it was broken down by age). Is it bad though that the night before we discovered that the only hat that fit our little guy was his daddy's? His head is officially bigger than his sister's now. And apparently a new summer hat for him is on our list of things to buy. Oh, and he also got to participate in part of her field day as I was hoping to get her to leave a little early, but that wasn't happening (for her or some of the other parents). Instead there was soccer, play doh, bubbles, tug of war, popsicles, orangle slices, etc. Did I mention he ate his first popsicle? Apparently when mommy isn't trying to get you to eat one they are wonderful! :-)
